how it works
caravela is a screener for new solana memecoins. a scanner bot runs around the clock, scores every launch it can see, and lists only the ones that clear a strict 100-point screening: contract safety, holder spread, real vs. bot volume, dev behaviour, socials, price action and rug history. it cuts out scams and weak launches; it doesn't predict winners.
what gets scanned
- pump.fun: every new launch and every graduation, streamed live from pumpportal.
- other solana launchpads: every new pool on geckoterminal's solana feed (meteora dbc, raydium launchlab and the rest), polled every minute.
- quiet tokens (fewer than 20 buys), serial launchers, tokens with no socials or image, and blocked words are skipped before scoring.

anything the scanner couldn't verify scores 0, so a token can't pass on missing data. tokens are scored at 5, 15, 30 and 60 minutes after launch; the first time one reaches 80 it's listed.
after listing
for 7 days after listing, every listed coin is watched nonstop: its price, market cap and liquidity update every second, and a safety re-check loops through all listed coins continuously, so each one is checked again within about half a minute. if the developer has sold more than half of what they held at approval, or rugcheck reports a new danger, the approval is revoked for good and the coin moves to wrecks. coins that fall 80% or lose their liquidity move there too. wrecks stay public so you can see how often the filter is wrong.
momentum
the momentum tab shows what is moving right now among coins that passed the safety checks: approved ones, plus coins that scored 60+ with no red flag in the last 6 hours. it ranks by recent price change weighted by real buying activity. it's there so you can see activity, not as a prediction: no momentum rule tested in caravela's research stayed profitable after fees on coins it hadn't seen.
faq
- will approved coins make me money?
- no promise. the checklist removes common scams. it doesn't predict price, and most new memecoins still lose most of their value. the track record on the screener shows how approved and rejected coins actually did.
- does caravela hold my money?
- no. you swap from your own wallet through jupiter and sign every transaction yourself. caravela has no deposit address, no balances and no withdrawals.
- what does caravela charge?
- a fee on swaps made on this site, added by jupiter and shown in the swap before you sign. see fees.
- can i check a coin that isn't listed?
- yes, with lookup. it runs the checklist on demand. some checks need data only the live scanner collects at launch, so a lookup can score lower than a live scan.
- why is the screener empty sometimes?
- because the bar is high. on many days only a handful of launches pass, sometimes none. that's the filter working.
- how fast is the data?
- the screener refreshes every second from dexscreener, which itself updates every few seconds. it's fast enough to watch a coin, not to beat trading bots: no website can, because you still have to approve each swap in your wallet.
- why link a wallet?
- to see your balance on the trade page, count your swaps on the leaderboard and let friends send you SOL. linking is a free signature. caravela will never ask for your seed phrase or private key: anyone who does is scamming you.
