fees

what you pay on a swap

• caravela's fee: the percentage above, paid in SOL as a separate line inside your swap transaction: taken from the SOL you spend on a buy, or from the SOL you receive on a sell. the exact amount is shown in the quote and in your wallet before you sign.
• jupiter / pool fees: set by the pools your swap routes through (often around 1% on new memecoin pools).
• solana network fee: a fraction of a cent, plus any priority fee your wallet adds.

sending SOL to a friend costs only the network fee. caravela takes nothing from transfers.

swaps of coins that aren't approved carry the same fee. the fee is the same for everyone and doesn't depend on whether you win or lose.
